About Us

Patricia Moore has professional experience in Graphic Design pre-press production management including proofreading, quality assurance and exceptional customer service.  Creative arts have been a continual lifelong interest, including college studies in classical art, history, design and composition; interest in photography began in 1985. Recent studies have included Digital Photography and Photoshop courses, earning an Associate of Arts degree in 2016 while pursuing a Bachelors with Columbia College. Acquired professional portrait experience by working for Lifetouch Studios as a seasonal photographer in 2016, photographing toddler to school-age children in North and Central Florida. As an enthusiast and Arabian horse owner for over 35 years, the love and respect for horses encourages the drive to capture their beauty, and the beauty of nature. It began with the unconditional bond with one horse, and those thereafter, thus inspiring our name in their honor.

 ...So, why the tiger face?

Both Pat and Jon are avid supporters of conservation efforts and public awareness of Endangered Species, and ceasing trophy hunting, particularly of big and small cats. Both are members of Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens (and volunteering in Land of the Tiger for 4 years), there is no shortage of subjects and challenges available to capture, JZG has been a common training ground. The source of creative inspiration of Greyhorse Photography featured on our home page is Sumatran tiger Berani, a 17-year-old male tiger whose dark stripes and “crazy eyes”, touched our souls. Sadly, Berani passed away September 2018, but we are grateful for the memories and expressions we've captured in recent years.

Preservation and protection of habitat of big cats in the wild, also support of captive breeding programs are a tremendous passion for our family. We also support rescue, care and permanent home to dozens of big cats, foxes and coatimundi, at Catty Shack Ranch & Wildlife Sanctuary in Jacksonville, FL. We donate images to causes such as AAZK's Bowling for Rhinos for silent auction, and will donate a portion of proceeds from the sale of specific images right back to Catty Shack, to help with their costs.
